In Loving Memory of Tigger Socks
Tigger Socks—affectionately known as Tiggy or Tig Tig—was one of a kind. Born in Hazelton, North Dakota, Tigger brought so much love, laughter, and personality into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Tigger was a loving and talkative soul who was especially wonderful with kids. He had a way of making friends with just about anyone who was willing to give him some love. His best friend was Lucky, his fellow cat, but Tigger's heart had plenty of room for everyone.
He certainly had a mind of his own. Tigger loved to sneak outside and explore, and he would have happily spent his days there if he had gotten his way. He hated going to the vet, wasn't a fan of dogs, and definitely didn't appreciate being stuck inside. But when it was time to rest, he knew exactly what he wanted: a warm patch of sunshine or a cozy spot tucked beneath a blanket.
Tigger's favorite toys included his pink stuffed worm and, perhaps most importantly, ice cubes. One of the most memorable sights was Tigger chasing ice across the floor, completely determined to catch it. Another unforgettable memory was watching him chase a worm on the fan—a perfect example of the playful, curious, and wonderfully silly personality that made him so special.
And then there was food. Tigger loved any human food, even the things he wasn't supposed to have. Somehow, he always seemed to believe that whatever his people were eating should belong to him, too.
Tigger Socks was more than a pet. He was family. He was a source of comfort, entertainment, companionship, and unconditional love. His little quirks, his voice, his playful antics, and the way he made himself part of everyday life are memories that will be cherished forever.
Though his paws are no longer walking beside us, the love he gave will never leave. There will always be a sunny spot that reminds us of him, a blanket that feels like his favorite hiding place, an ice cube that brings a smile, and countless memories that make us miss him and love him all over again.
Tigger Socks will be deeply missed by Mom, Dad, Emma, Noah, Quinn, Grayson, and Scarlett.
Run free, Tiggy. Chase all the ice cubes you want, find the sunniest spots, and never stop being the wonderfully loving, talkative, mischievous boy we were so lucky to love.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Tig Tig. ❤️🐾
